Transitional Living Program

Transitional Living Program (TLP) is a voluntary, 12- 18 month program that provides supportive housing, life skills training and support services to young people, ages 18 to 21, who are homeless or transitioning out of foster care. The program is designed to promote self-sufficiency and reduce the risk of future homelessness. Through TLP, young people get the chance to identify their own personal goals and receive help in reaching them.

Some of the assistance available include:

  • Clothing
  • Food
  • House Wares (dishes, towels, linens)
  • Life Skills (assistance opening accounts, filling out forms/applications, developing budget, cooking)
  • Counseling
  • Referrals
  • Resources
