Our Story

In 1987 a group of concerned citizens came together to discuss how to address the need in Creek County for a shelter for children.  Children who were removed by the Department of Human Services from their parents were being placed outside of the county.  This group knew it was best for children to be placed in their own community until reunification or a foster home was available.  In March of that year, Youth Services of Creek County, was incorporated with the honorable Judge Lester Henderson signing the forms and leading the way.  Over the years YSCC has kept the original mission to house children, but also added new programs to meet the needs of youth and families in Creek County.

Our Mission

Provide prevention services to reduce the need for out of home placement.
